From the newly renovated and expanded Shelby Farms Park – a4.500-acre behemoth that dwarfs Central Park – and its 11-mile Greenline project connecting its bike paths from Cordova to Midtown to the Wolf River and its new Greenway project connecting its trails from Germantown to Downtown Memphis to the soon-to-open Big River Crossing – the longest public pedestrian bridge across the Mississippi River – there’s a greening of the Mid-South taking place that has no peer nationwide.
